Tengu Tattoo Studio is located on a peaceful street in Clifton, Bristol.
Owned by Tattoo Artists James Bull & Hannya Jayne.
When Tengu Tattoo opened its doors in 2023, James and Hannya had a combined 30 years plus experience of professional, full time tattooing and even more within the tattoo industry.
Having tattooed in a few towns and cities throughout the UK over the years, the decision to relocate to Bristol was made after working a few Guest Spots. Although it could be argued that a seed was planted in 2015 when they travelled down to visit the first Bristol Tattoo Convention.
Tengu Tattoo Studio might be humble in size but boasts a wealth of knowledge and experience.
With each Tattoo Artists personality being as diverse as their specialised tattoo style, the team is united in their enthusiasm (alongside Pizza) to strive for the studio being a welcoming and relaxed space. Whilst maintaining a strong foundation of professionalism and safety, one element of that being very strict hygiene practices.
The whole ethos of the Tattoo studio is to have a space where people can be safe and inspired.
All the artists use Vegan (Cruelty Free) & Eco friendly products, the studio is powered by
100 Green, a renewable energy supplier.
The studio has lots of art displayed on the walls which has been either collected by or created by each tattoo artist at Tengu.
The plethora of art is a true representation of the quality and eclecticism of the Tattoo Artists and their speciality style of tattooing.
